This was a good project, but try as I might to revive it, it's just gone. It's just time to let it go.
It's not the end for me though. Please check out my new blog, the Coquelicot Projects. It's not specifically a poetry blog, but I have a sneaking suspicion some new poems will pop up there from time to time.
Thanks for reading and commenting.
What's your current personal project (it doesn't have to be a big thing, just something you do for you)?
You have done what few can--written so that others can and want to read what you write. Your poems draw me in and make me smile and respond to what you have said and the lively and direct way in which you say it. Very cool!
The blog of a girl with too many dreams and too little sleep. These poems are about passing time at the office, conveying the flavour of downtown Toronto and connecting with readers through the small, shared experiences of daily life.
I write frequently, and some pieces are better than other -- hey, part of being a poet is giving yourself permission to write crap.
I'm also a blogger on LAID: young people's experiences with sex in an easy-access culture. The blog is "the collective journal of a group of young people who are fully immersed in today’s changing world. Here we will explore our own sexuality while questioning every contemporary ad/ music video/ TV show/ book/ article that deals with sex or sexuality." It's also promoting Shannon Boodram's titular book.

NOTICE TO READERS
Some poems have and will be removed from this blog for submission into publications. New work will still be posted regularly, and remain up for a week or so even if I plan to take it down and publish it. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Special thanks to the folks who create and post free Photoshop brushes on BrushKing for making me look ten times more talented at web/graphic design than I actually am. The brushes I used in this layout are Solid Ink Splatter, Hand Drawn Florals and Creative Doodles.
Most of the images I use in my posts are taken from the Wikipedia Commons. If you want to let me use some of your art or photography (with credit, of course) in my posts, please leave me a comment about it.

My personal project? A quilt. I'm making a quilt just for fun, because I liked my first one that I made. :)
