The rose

When the first faint lines
of wilting appeared on a petal’s edge,
like the crinkle of an old woman’s eye,
the rose cast off its blossoms
and waited naked
for the frost.

It was no longer a rose.

Is there an action or activity that defines you? What would happen if you were no longer able to do it?

Video games and programming. So I guess if I lose my hands (or too many fingers), I'm fucked. :P I think I can deal with arthritis and stuff like that; I don't need the flexibility of, say, a guitar player for example. :)

I love dance and piano (though i am not great at either one...). if i were to ever lose the ability in my hands or legs I would be heartbroken, but I would survive.
