I made not be particularly fond of poetry, but that's beautiful. :) This may be incredibly nerdy, but the people who work on Magic and Harmonix reaffirm my faith in humanity. Besides this poem, of course. :)

Unexpected general kindness from people seems to reaffirm my faith in humanity. Like when someone holds the door for you, or actually is sorry when they bumped you on the bus.

Anyway, happy birthday blog!! It really was a good idea that you've stuck to so I'm proud of you sister.

Now ... more poems, more poems!

I really liked this one.

When people smile at each other, or when I exchange smiles with a stranger, it reaffirms my faith in humanity.

Glad to make my first comment for your poems on this day of blog birth bliss!

Lots of potent images for such a short poem, especially the first couple of lines in the third stanza. What mood are you conveying here? I felt a detached serenity.
